J. Alter, M.D.
...is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA. He
attended the University of California at Berkeley for three years
prior to entering medical school at UCLA, where he earned his
medical and completed two years of general surgery residency. Dr.
Alter completed a urology residency at the Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston and a plastic surgery residency at the Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr.
Alter is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is
a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeons. He is an editor of a major plastic surgery textbook and
has published numerous plastic surgery articles.
